PandaPhone is a U.S. corporation with branch offices located in major cities in China. PandaPhone was founded in 2003, its creation the result of one person’s effort to solve the problem that visitors faced in renting reliable cell phones.
Since its inception, PandaPhone has grown over 100%, annually. In 2006, PandaPhone served customers that included employees from Sun Microsystems, a delegation to China from the California government, and the patrons of the Canton Trade Fair. In addition, PandaPhone partners with other wireless providers, travel agencies and non-profit organizations to provide wireless services to their clients. Today, PandaPhone offers a wide variety of wireless communication products, including the sale and rental of cell phones, Blackberries, SIM cards, and airtime recharge service.
