My Humble House opened on 12 October 2002 as Tung Lok Group's first artistic restaurant. The design of this Contemporary Chinese restaurant elevates 'the art of dining' beyond the realm of the exceptional. Contemporary Chinese cuisine is served using the private recipes of Tung Lok's creative team of chefs led by Director of Kitchens/Corporate Chef, Sam Leong, with an exceptional style of artistic presentation. Combining the best ingredients from around the world with traditional Chinese and innovative cooking methods. The taste remains distinctively Chinese, while the look is refreshingly modern. The design of the entire restaurant emulates an elegant private home. Traditional rosewood and teak furniture is complemented by softer organic shapes, such as a large sofa in the shape of a rose. Special attention is also given to the lighting of the restaurant, which has been designed by Kuro Mende, one of the world's best lighting specialists. Through the use of fiber optics and other light features, diners will be able to experience three different moods, depending on the time of day. The juxtaposition of traditional Chinese and artistic modern elements gives the restaurant an extremely fresh and progressive appeal, while maintaining a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
