Visa has launched the "Visa brings you a world of rewards" promotion which offers all Visa Platinum and Visa Gold cardholders exclusive benefits and discounts for shopping, traveling or dining. This campaign runs from now until 31 December 2008.
"By launching the 'Visa brings you a world of rewards' promotion, we hope our cardholders will be excited about the variety and quality of discounts and benefits we have arranged for them," said Amer Pasha, country manager, Pakistan, Visa International. "Cardholders can carry only their Visa cards to shop at merchant partners, to make online transactions or to withdraw funds from ATMs across the country with confidence and peace of mind."
Exclusive benefits at hotels and restaurants
Visa has teamed up with a range of merchants in major cities nationwide, including Pearl Continental Hotels and Resorts and the Marriott Hotels in Karachi and Islamabad for accommodation, dining and wedding-based rewards and offers.
As part of the promotion, Visa cardholders can look forward to free room upgrades, 15 percent off the "best available rate" and priority seating at hotel restaurants when they use their Visa Platinum or Visa Gold card. Couples booking wedding packages with their Visa Platinum or Visa Gold cards will receive a complimentary room, cake and bouquet of flowers on their wedding day.
Savings on travel packages
Visa Platinum and Visa Gold cardholders can enjoy savings on travel packages when they book their travel through Gerry's Holidays. Cardholders get complimentary Marhaba greeting service when they arrive or depart. Traveling cardholders can also have their tickets delivered to their doorstep for international and domestic tickets, enjoy discounts of up to six percent on international air tickets as well as enjoy up to 17 percent on all Gerry's Holidays products. These include Rail Europe, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Trafalgar Tours, DSF & Far East Leisure Packages and hotel bookings worldwide.
Secure your purchases against accidental breakage
Visa has entered into an arrangement with New Jubilee Insurance (NJI) offering Visa cardholders the Home Appliances Insurance Program. This program will insure all appliance purchases valued to Rs 50,000 against the risk of accidental breakage. Cardholders must apply for the policy within 30 days of the purchase. Interested cardholders can apply for the policy by calling or visiting NJI.
Retail discounts and country club access
Visa cardholders can also look forward to discounts from retails outlets European Gallery, Shayanne Malik, Ambreen Khan and United Mobile as well as access to exclusive country clubs including the Royal Palm Golf and Country Club, Arabian Sea Country Club and Arena Club.
Visa has launched an advertisement campaign showcasing which merchants are involved in this promotion. In addition, Visa cardholders will receive a brochure in the mail with details on merchant locations and contacts, benefits and discounts available as part of the "Visa brings you a world of rewards" promotion.
