| Account Information Security Summit | | |
Visa and its members understand that the protection of cardholder information is paramount. In recent years, new technologies and acceptance channels have increased the ability of remote and internal attacks on merchants and service providers to compromise cardholder data. In light of this, Visa Payment Security Services (VPSS) hosted Account Information Security (AIS) Summits on Thursday 27 October 2005 in Auckland and 28 October 2005 in Wellington. The event was open to all Visa members and their agents (e.g. retail merchants, e-commerce merchants, third party processors and Internet Payment Service Providers). The sessions provided an insight into the AIS program, the requirements, benefits and the tools Visa provides you to ensure cardholder information is protected.
