In its effort to help eliminate Internet child pornography, Visa works with law enforcement agencies and child advocacy groups including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Justice Criminal Division Special Counsel for High Technology Crimes, Customs Department Cyber Smuggling Unit and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in the US; the UK's National Hi-Tech Crime Unit; the Australian Crime Commission and the Virtual Global Task Force - a network of international law enforcement agencies set up to combat child pornography.
In November 2004, Visa participated in a meeting of the Virtual Global Task Force, in Canberra, Australia 
 
In Australia and New Zealand, Visa works with the child exploitation or sexual offences sections of the various police forces to assist with the investigation and shutting down of any child pornography sites identified in the two countries. Visa is also assisting the Australian High-Tech Crime Centre with its research on the subject.
