General Terms and Conditions 
 

1. “Visa Preferred Merchants Tourist Offers” ("Offers") shall be valid from 30 June to 30 September, 2007 (both dates inclusive) ("Offers Period").
2. For details of the Visa Preferred Merchants and the general terms and conditions of the Offers, please read the Selected Merchants List or make enquiry with the Visa Preferred Merchants.
3. Offers are only applicable to overseas visitors to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China ("Hong Kong").
4. Overseas Visa cardholders are overseas visitors to Hong Kong whose Visa cards are issued outside Hong Kong ("Overseas Visa Cardholders")
5. Overseas Visa Cardholders of Dual Currency cards issued in the People’s Republic of China must select to use Visa Network in order to be eligible for the Offers.
6. Offers are only applicable to Overseas Visa Cardholders and when they use their Visa cards in paying for their transactions.
7. Overseas Visa Cardholders who spend a minimum of HK$200 or above in one single Visa sales receipt with an overseas Visa card at any merchant in Hong Kong in one day during the Offers Period are entitled to receive 1 (one)  McDonald’s® Twist Cone by presenting the Visa sales receipt and corresponding Visa card at any McDonald’s® restaurants in Hong Kong on the same day. Any Visa sales receipt not presented on the same day shall not be accepted.
8. For Twist Cone offer, Twist Cone is only available while stocks last. Only applicable to McDonald’s® restaurants in Hong Kong. Each Visa sales receipt is entitled to 1(one) Twist Cone and subject to a maximum redemption of 2(two) Cones per customer per visit.  Customers are required to present the original same day Visa sales receipt (photocopy is not allowed) for verification.  Visa sales receipt will be stamped upon the Twist Cone redemption. Twist Cone is only available from 11am to 2am. Twist Cone is not available at McDonald's® Restaurants in Shatin Racecourse and Happy Valley Racecourse.
9. McDonald’s® restaurants and all Visa Preferred Merchants reserve all rights to request the Overseas Visa Cardholders for travel documents for verification purposes.
10. All the discounts, privileges, gifts and services provided in the Offers are not transferable and cannot be resold and exchanged for cash or other products.
11. Visa International accepts no liability for the discounts, privileges, gifts and services provided by the McDonald’s® restaurants all Visa Preferred Merchants and other service providers involved in the Offers.  To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Visa International offers no warranty or representation whatsoever, express, implied or statutory, in relation to the discounts, privileges, gifts and services provided by the McDonald’s® restaurants and all Visa Preferred Merchants or other service providers or in relation to any usage thereof whatsoever.
12. Visa International shall not be liable in any way to any person for any personal injury, death, loss or damages (whether direct, indirect or otherwise) arising from or in connection with the Offers, the discounts, privileges, gifts and services.
13. Visa International, McDonald’s® restaurants and all Visa Preferred Merchants reserve the right to make final decisions in case of disputes which are binding on the Overseas Visa Cardholders.
14. In case of any discrepancy between the English, Chinese and Japanese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
15. These terms and conditions shall be construed and governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
