1. Promotion
1.1.The Promotion is valid from 00:00 on 1 July 2008 (GMT+8) to 23:59 on 27 August 2008 (GMT+8) (“Promotion Period”).
1.2.Participating cardholders (hereinafter called the “Participants”) must charge their transactions to their Visa Cards in any outlet at the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 between the Promotion Period in order to be eligible to participate in the Promotion.
1.3.Only Visa cardholders (both local and overseas) are eligible to participate in the Promotion. Overseas Visa cardholders are overseas visitors to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (“Hong Kong”) whose Visa cards are issued outside Hong Kong (“Overseas Visa Cardholders”).
1.4.Overseas Visa Cardholders of Dual Currency cards issued in the People’s Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong for the purposes of the terms and conditions herein) must select to use Visa Network in order to be eligible for the Promotion.
1.5.The Promotion includes taking a photo in front of the Visa Olympics commemorative settings and redeeming Visa Olympics souvenirs (“Souvenirs”).
1.6.Participants must present the valid Visa card to the staff at the Promotion booths to get a chance to take a photo in front of the Visa Olympics commemorative settings.
1.7.All Souvenirs are available on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last. Visa Cardholders must spend specific amounts in Hong Kong dollars at the outlets of Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 in order to participate in the Promotion. The specific amounts are as follows:
1.7.1 Spend HKD300 (HKD300 – HKD1999.99) to redeem a free Visa Olympics Pin with the original receipt issued by the outlets at the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 and original Visa sales receipt.
1.7.2Spend HKD2, 000 or above to redeem a free set of Visa Olympics Chopstick Pens with the original receipt issued by the outlets at the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 and original Visa sales receipt.
1.8.Each Visa Cardholder must present the respective valid identity card or passport, original receipt issued by the outlets at the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 and 2, original Visa sales receipt and original Visa card at the specific Promotion booths to redeem the Souvenirs. Receipts issued by the outlets at the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 and Visa sales receipts will be stamped upon the redemption. The Visa card number as shown on the Visa sales receipt must correspond with the Visa card number presented at redemption.
1.9.A maximum of two original receipts issued by the outlets at the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 and two corresponding original Visa sales receipts can be accumulated for redemption. Cardholders must redeem the Souvenirs within 7 days from the date of transaction to the date of redemption (both dates inclusive). All redemptions must be carried out at the Promotion booths. The addresses of the Promotion booths are listed as follows:
· Terminal 1 Departures Check In Hall Level 7 (non-restricted area, near escalator leading to Level 8); open daily 0800-2300 (8am-11pm) (GMT+8)
· Terminal 1 Departures East Hall Level 6 (restricted area, near gate 20); open daily 0800-2300 (8am-11pm) (GMT+8)
· Terminal 2 Level 5 (non-restricted area, near 7-Eleven); open daily 0900-2300 (9am-11pm) (GMT+8)
1.10.Each Visa Cardholder can register a maximum of 4 Visa sales receipts per day, that is, each Visa Cardholders can redeem a maximum of 2 Souvenirs at the Promotion booths per day.
1.11.In case of Black Rainstorm Signal, Typhoon No. 8 or above is hoisted, all Promotion booths will be closed. Visa Cardholders can submit the copies of the original receipt issued by the outlets at the Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 and original Visa sales receipt by sending email to mkgbd@hkairport.com or faxing to 21833129. Airport Authority Hong Kong will contact the respective Visa cardholders for verification and follow up.
1.12.Participants must redeem the Souvenirs at the specific Promotion booths by 23:00 on 27 August 2008 (GMT+8). Any redemption after 23:00 on 27 August 2008 (GMT+8) will be forfeited. Please refer to paragraph 1.9 above for the details of the Promotion booths.
1.13.Receipts issued by the Airport Hotel Links and Airport Express Line, Travelex, any convenience stores for Octopus reload and any outlet for purchasing cash coupons cannot be used to participate in the Promotion.
2. General Terms and Conditions
2.1. Information (including, but without limitation, personal data) provided by the Participants in the Promotion (including, but without limitation, the redemption of Souvenirs and other activities in the Promotion) will be used by Visa, AAHK and their respective agencies for administering the Promotion and other related marketing program purposes. Visa, AAHK and their respective agencies may pass such information to its authorized service providers for management of the Promotion, data processing, redemption arrangements and analysis of Souvenirs and other purposes related to the Promotion. The information may also be used to send communication materials related to the Promotion to the Participants by Visa, AAHK and their respective agencies or retained service providers, as the case may be. Participants reserve the right to decline the receipt of such material by emailing to aphkmarketing@visa.com or mkgbd@hkairport.com. By participating in the Promotion, the participants consent to such use of their information.
2.2.All information provided by the Participants in the redemption of the Souvenirs is deemed to be true and accurate.
2.3.Unless otherwise required for the purposes stated in the terms and conditions herein, all personal data collected pursuant to the Promotion will be destroyed 24 months after the end of the Promotion.
2.4.Visa, AAHK and their respective agencies or retained service providers will only keep such personal data for so long as they are required for the purposes stated in the terms and conditions herein, Visa, AAHK and their respective agencies or retained service providers will treat all personal data collected from the Participants in confidence. The entire Participants' rights under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) shall be recognized by Visa, AAHK and their respective agencies or retained service providers at all times.

2.6.Visa and AAHK shall not be liable to any person for any personal injury, death, loss, damage or liability (whether direct, indirect or otherwise) arising from or in connection with the Promotion and Souvenirs, including, but not limited to, loss of income, profits or goodwill, any loss, damage or liability arising from any failure to receive or process any entry; any error in computing any chance; any computer, telecommunications or equipment failure or malfunction; any deficiency or inadequacy of service rendered by any third party; or any notice which is misdirected or lost in the postal system even if Visa and AAHK has been advised of the possibility of such loss, damage or liability.
2.7.Visa and AAHK reserves the right to invite the Participants and/or use the Participants' information to participate and undertake public relations activities in association with the Promotion.
2.8.Visa and AAHK reserves the right: – to amend, delete or add to any of the terms and conditions herein; – to change or substitute the Rewards (or any portion thereof) with a reward of similar value; and/or – to cancel, terminate or suspend this Promotion, at any time with or without notice or reasons to a Participant. Participants may obtain updated versions of the terms and conditions herein, if any, by logging on to Visa website (www.visa.com.hk) or AAHK website (www.hongkongairport.com ). For the avoidance of doubt, the exercise by Visa and AAHK of any of its foregoing rights shall not entitle any eligible Participant to any Souvenirs or claim for compensation against Visa, AAHK, their respective agencies or retained service providers or any of the participating outlets of the Promotion.
2.9.Suspected or actual fraud and/or suspected or actual abuse relating to the obtaining of the Souvenirs by the Participants may result in the Souvenirs being forfeited.
2.10.All questions and disputes regarding the Promotion will be determined at the sole discretion of Visa and AAHK.
2.11.The Souvenirs cannot be resold, in exchange for cash, other products or discounts or other considerations; and are non-refundable. No refund will be given for any unused service or entitlement.
2.12.ATo the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Visa and AAHK offer no warranty or representation whatsoever, express, implied or statutory, in relation to the Souvenirs and services provided by all participating outlets or other service providers or in relation to any usage thereof whatsoever.
2.13.Unless otherwise provided in the terms and conditions herein, winners shall not be entitled to any cash compensation / benefits or substitution in any form whatsoever in lieu of the declared Souvenirs in the Promotion.
2.14.Visa’s and AAHK’s decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion, are final and binding on all Participants.
2.15.In the event of discrepancies between the English and the Chinese versions of the terms and conditions herein, the English version shall prevail.
2.16.The terms and conditions herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong.
