| Visa Mini | | | Frequently Asked Questions | |
What is Visa Mini? Visa Mini is a Visa exclusive product that is nearly half the size of a standard Visa card. It may be issued as a standalone or as a companion card to your standard Visa card.
What is a companion card? Visa Mini acts as a companion card if linked to your standard-sized Visa card account. It is simply a smaller version of your current Visa card and provides you with an additional and convenient way to pay for purchases. Visa Mini can be used at any electronic point-of-sales (POS) swipe terminals. For ATMs and terminals which require full card insertion, please use your standard-sized Visa card.
| |
When can I apply for a Visa Mini? Visa Mini has been launched in many countries/regions in Asia Pacific. Look out for advertisements and communications from Visa card issuing financial institutions in your country.
How do I use my Visa Mini at merchants? Just like a standard-size card, Visa Mini works with merchants who use electronic card swipe readers. The merchants will swipe the card at their electronic POS swipe readers and you then just need to sign on the sales slip.
Do I still need my standard-sized Visa card when I have a Visa Mini? Your card company may choose to issue to you a standard-sized Visa card along with a Visa Mini so that you can access the ATMs or make purchases at merchants who carry terminals which require full card insertion or manual imprinters (zip-zap machines) requiring an imprint of the card.
| How do I ensure that my Visa Mini card is not easily misplaced or lost? Your Visa Mini has a small hole in the lower left hand corner to allow you to attach it to your mobile phone, keys or any carry-along device so you won't misplace or lose it. | | |
What should I do if I lose my Visa Mini? Report the loss of your card through your card company customer service center. If you are traveling and could not reach your bank, call Visa GCAS center.
What is my liability if I lose my Visa Mini? Please check your lost card liability with your bank.
