Two of Australia’s biggest retailers to accept Visa payWave |

Coles and Woolworths have announced they will be accepting Visa payWave contactless payments from early 2012.
Coles said the upgraded payment terminals will allow its customers to enjoy faster "wave and go" payments at the checkout using either their Visa payWave enabled credit or debit cards for purchases up to $100.

Australia Post has launched a new reloadable Visa prepaid card called Load&Go. The card will enable customers to purchase securely online and without having to disclose their identity. The card can be easily topped up online and at more than 3,200 Australia Post stores around Australia.

Australians the biggest spenders online for Christmas gifts |

Australians will spend $940 on average online this year buying Christmas presents – the highest in the Asia Pacific region according to a survey released by Visa. Australian survey respondents put mothers at the top of the intended Christmas gift recipients list, followed by fathers, while 42 percent intend to pamper themselves with a gift.
